Platini Against Racism

The president of the UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Michel Platini expressed a need for the curtailment of football matches in the case of hoaxes by racist fans.

"We can take strict measures. If it is necessary to kick fans out with a tribunal disqualify clubs, we will do it. So it will continue until those who come and sit in the stadiums are there to watch football, not vandalize. We will support any referee who, after consultation with the match delegates, stops the game because of racist behavior of fans. A football match is important, but we wont tolerate such behavior in stadiums, told Platini on the official site of the UEFA.
