In Samara starts a new project School of Tolerance for the Youth.

In Samara on October 16th a project called School of Tolerance for the Youth starts. The existence of the project was made possible thanks to the support of the IREX Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Samara Region. The grant was gained in a competition of micro-projects, organized by the Center for Interethnic Cooperation and the Jewish organization of Nizhniy Novgorod Tsvi Girsh. The project School of Tolerance for the Youth will be realized in Samara until the end of December, and it is intended first of all for university students and youth representatives of ethnic cultural centers. The youth of Samara will familiarize themselves with ethno-confessional characteristics of the population in the Samara region by playing interactive games. They will take part in ethnic holidays and round tables related to the subject. Within the next time for the participants of the project will be organized an excursion to the town Bulgary, a monument of medieval history and culture. The organizers of the activities use as a basis for their project the methods they learned through working with the youth of the American organization CAMBA.
