Exhibition Dedicated to Tolerance Opens In Vladivostok

The UN has declared October 2nd the international day of non-violence and tolerance. One hundred and twenty-three countries of the world, including Russia, supported this timely initiative and are carrying out important actions and events. In the afternoon of October 2 in the science museum in the Far-East State University, an exhibition opening took place titled Ahimsa-non-violence and tolerance.

The exhibition is organized by the General Embassy of the Republic of India in Vladivostok, the Vladivostok Friendship Society with India and the Indian education center of the Far-East State University.

Unique books and photographic materials covering the idea of the movement of non-violence and tolerance, presented by the General Indian Consulate and the Science Library of FESM, as well as the subject of Indian culture from the Indian educational center of FESM.
