Trial Begins Against Leader of Serbian Radicals Voislav Sheshel

The judicial process against Voislav Sheshel, leader of the radical Serbian party, began on Wednesday at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. He is accused of inciting racial hostility. According to investigation, Sheshel, once the close companion-in-arms to Yugoslav�s president Slobodan Milosevic, called for Serbians to carry out murder, torture and rape for achieving the creation of a �greater Serbia�.

At the start of the process, Kristin Dahl, the procurer read the testimony of one of the witnesses in the charges, a Muslim woman whose husband and two children were killed by Serbs; she herself was raped.
