Practical Conference Dated for International Day of Tolerance in Orenburg

On November 16th the International Day of Tolerance is recognized. The ministry of Information Policy, Public and External Liaisons of the Orenburg oblast reported that on this day there will be an Interregional Study conference: �The Formation of Tools for Building Tolerant Consciousness in Russian Society: Problems and Perspectives�.

The main goal of the conference: to study the experience of interethnic and interfaith interaction in regions of the Russian Federation. The plenary session will being at 10 am in the conference-hall of the Orenburg State Agricultural Institute (5 Kovalenko st.) Leading specialists in the sphere of the realization of state ethnic and religious policy will take part in the event, and scholars in the fields of history, sociology, philosophy, politics, and religion from Moscow, Samara, Chelyabinsk and Orenburg will present reports. The following day, conference participants will attend a concert of national artistic collectives from the Orenburg oblast �The Strength of Russia is in the Unity of its People�, which will take place at 12:00 in the musical comedy theatre.

As a result of the previous study conference, recommendations will be formed regarding the formation of tools for building tolerant consciousness in Russian society, taking into account the experience of Orenburg oblast.
