A suicide-terrorist blew up a playground in the north of Iraq, in the town of Tuz Khurmato, reports news agency Reuters. One child died, and thirteen people were wounded.

People were gathered at the plaza, observing the Muslim holiday Uraza Bairam, the end of the holy month Ramadan. Police suppose that the bomb was hidden in a cart with childrens toys, which the bomber was pushing. After the explosion, the terrorist was still alive and was taken to hospital.

An anonymous source in the police states that the number of victims is higher than the official report. According to him, twenty-three people, the majority of them children, were affected. The day before, during a special operation for the destruction of Al Qaeda insurgent in Baghdad, ten children and fifteen adult innocent civilians were killed by American soldiers.
