Training Sessions in the Urdmurtia Republic

With the support of local authorities, the Center for Interethnic Cooperation, will lead two training sessions in the Urdmurtia Republic. The first session will take place from February 13 - 15, 2007. Among the participants will be leaders of ethnic organizations, representatives of law enforcement and governmental employees of the Urdmurtia Republic. Middle school teachers will be the participants of the second training session. The main goal of the training sessions is to prevent interethnic conflicts from arising and to popularize the idea of tolerance. Financial support for these training sessions has been provided by the authorities of the Urdmurtia Republic and by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, a non-governmental American foundation.
