Mass Youth Action We Are Different, But We Are Together in Kondopoga

On November 29th and 30th, the Center for Interethnic Cooperation, the Karelia Center of the Development of Youth and Public Initiatives and the European-wide network UNITED will lead a mass action for youth in Petrozavodsk and Kondopoga We are different, but we are together. Youth activists from ethnic organizations from fifteen regions of Russia will lead tolerance lessons in Petrozavodsk schools and universities, and there will be a get-together with local youth in Kondopoga in the Interethnic Youth Club (formerly Chaika). The action is being carried out in the framework of the project The Utilization of the Network of Ethnic Organizations for Opposing Xenophobia in Russia, supported by the European Union and the Ministry of Ethnic Policy Affairs of the Republic of Karelia.
