The CRIF�s data concludes that the number of attacks on Jews has increased in 2006 by 46 %. There have been 112 anti-Semitic attacks reported against the Jewish population last year and 77 similar incidents have already been registered this year. Based on the CRIF�s figures, anti-Semitic actions have significantly increased after the brutal murder of Elana Halemi in February, 2006 and after the war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
