Internship opportunity Description of the organization The Center for Interethnic Cooperation was established in 1997 and is working in the Human Rights sector on Ethnic Minority Issues in Russia. During the last 8 years we have been able to establish good contact to partner organizations in the US, Great Britain and Germany (including for example the Council of Europe or IREX). Our work consists mainly in educating ethnic minority leaders in their rights towards the government and enforcing cooperation between the state and ethnic minorities. We are seeking to establish a great network between the ethnic organizations and are currently cooperating with over 200 organizations in 11 different regions allover Russia. Further information: http://www.interethnic.org Description of the internship We are seeking interns in full or part time, that assist us mainly with the work in our office. The main duties as an intern would lie in translating (Russian-English), communicating with our English speaking partner organizations (phone and email) as well as helping maintain our English speaking web page. Other than that we are constantly carrying out seminars, trainings and conferences in different regions of Russia and our interns assist in the preparation, realization and post-processing of these events. We also highly support if interns want to establish their own projects while they are working with us!
