�WE are against Violence� Student Action takes place in Chelny (Naberezhnye Chelny, November 1st, �Tatar-inform�, Airat Bashkurov). On November 9th, 2007, during the International day of anti-fascism and against anti-Semitism, in the framework of the campaign �Kristallnacht-Never Again�, an action of the same name will take place in Naberezhnye Chelny at the plaza by Park Pobedy. Questionnaires on the theme of �Tolerance in Education� will be carried out in the framework of the action, as will a flash-mob action on the theme �WE are against violence�; both actions which are in opposition of the �language of enmity� and swastikas which have been found on the walls of houses in the city. Management of youth affairs of the town legislative committee, the youth center �Zaman�, the children�s municipal Duma and the town�s student council are responsible for the event. The goals of the action are promoting the idea of tolerance, antifascism and intercultural interaction among youth and adolescents. According to organizers, the main tasks of the action are to focus the public�s attention on the problem of ethnic and religious intolerance and contribute to creating mechanisms for a positive dialogue between young people.
